Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales. Manage sales performance and visibility through disciplined use of CRM. Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction. The RVP will be responsible to develop the team and focus on both tactical and strategic initiatives to penetrate the market and position unique solutions to drive growth. As much as this a managerial role, he or she is expected to be very hands-on in engaging with enterprise customers and in enabling the team to succeed. The individual is expected to be proactive, following-through with engineering, product management, operations, HR and other staff. Candidate Profile: Must reside in the greater NYC area 10-15 years of overall work experience preferred 3+ years of sales management experience, building and leading a team of sales professionals. 5+ years of direct sales experience. 3+ years selling to ENTERPRISE CLIENTS in the EASTERN REGION. Experience in selling complex, IT solutions including network security, cyber security, Application performance, monitoring or related technologies Stability in staying with the companies they worked for. Ability to build and motivate a growing sales team. Demonstrable revenue generation performance, consistently achieving or over-achieving quota. Proven experience in driving sales process discipline: pipeline building through forecasting and delivering results. Need to be adept at all steps of the process including, opportunity identification or creation, driving proof-of-concepts, enabling the technology adoption Strong executive presence with superior communications skills. Ability to gain confidence and trust of strong-minded customers. Intellectual and technical ability to comprehend position and sell suite of complex products, especially the security products.
