The college intern position within the Warranty Claims Department will provide a supporting role to all segments of the entire department (both Low and Steep Slope) through the completion of various projects and general administrative duties.This candidate must have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and good computer skills as well as superior communication skills to interact verbally and in writing with department personnel and internal and external customers to successfully support the essential duties of this function.This position will report to the Warranty Claims Operations Specialist.
? Assist Warranty Claims Management team and Operations Specialist with preparation of Google Slides and Google Sheet reports
? Contact contractors and customers on outstanding billing and repair items for both Low and Steep Slope Claims
? Collaborate with Warranty Claim Supervisors and Operations Specialist on the completion and/or update of training materials through G-Suite products and use of SharePoint storage system.
? Create and organize warranty libraries on SharePoint and other vehicles
? Scan and file warranty claims
? Work in tandem with GAF's Quality Laboratory on various projects
? Perform audits of warranty claim files to ensure accuracy with regard to the attachments
? Communicate with customers by telephone
? General office duties

Required Education: The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with minimum overall GPA of 2.8, and an anticipated graduation date between December 2019 and May 2021.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship.
All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 37.5 hours per week over the summer period. We are targeting currently enrolled college students who will be staying in the NJ/NY metro area for the duration of the internship and be able to commute to our World Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. Housing, transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
