The Accounting Clerk is responsible for preparing invoices, managing accounts receivables and account payables for our company

Post A/R and A/P to journals.
Reconcile billings and payments.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
Enter data into computer system using defined computer programs.
Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, and external vendors and customers.
Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
Investigate questionable data.
Generate Income and Expense
Reports on a monthly basis.
Analyze GL accounts and prepare audit work-papers.
Process checks for payment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

There is no supervisory responsibility for this position
This position operates in a long-term care facility. This role may use standard office and/or pharmacy equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, rolling carts, fax machines and etc. A large portion of work shall be performed in the long-term care facility where the noise may be loud.

May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

Education and Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Associates OR Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or three years experience in the field.
Computer knowledge in MS Excel, Word
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
