Job Description:
Overview The Customer Account Manager is located at the customer's facility and is responsible for providing the customer with planning and forecasting as well as measuring and reporting KPIs related to the warehouse business. This position is responsible to assure the smooth flow of the customer's product and troubleshooting of problems and delays as they arise. This position has daily interface with the customer and is fully integrated into the operation.

Responsibilities Establish, document and maintain standard operating procedures between the customer and Yusen Logistics.
Act as the liaison between customer's operations and management teams and Yusen Logistics' operations and customer service teams.
Generate and analyze statistical information to facilitate planning of new programs.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to enhance and monitor operations.
Training of customer employees on the Yusen Logistics visibility system, as needed.
Assess operational performance, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely and/or cost savings solutions.
Handle and coordinate manual allocations/reallocations instructions from customer.
Prepare all necessary vessel files to properly execute daily activities; identify discrepancies against EDI data, US customs, and Yusen's operating system.
Create vessel assignment log and monitor vessel status, communicating any discrepancies that arise.
Manage container manifesting and movement notifications.
When applicable, maintain contact with shipping agents and customs brokers to obtain updated information about customs and shipping status of vessels arriving at harbor.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus two or more years of logistics/warehouse experience.
Able to inspire the trust of others, works with integrity and upholds organizational values.

Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions.
Must possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to grasp extensive knowledge while dealing with a variety of people.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to travel as needed.
